Marios Karpouzis

Marios Karpouzis is a licensed Supreme Court attorney and a member of the Athens Bar Association. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Westminster in London, with a specialization in civil and commercial law.

Since 2006, he has been practicing law actively and extensively in Athens, having collaborated with leading law firms and corporations, as well as maintaining long-standing partnerships with public sector entities — primarily in the fields of healthcare and local government.

In 2012, together with attorney Sevastiani Lianou, he co-founded Karpouzis – Lianou & Associates Law Firm, based in Athens.

He has extensive experience across all areas of civil and commercial law, with a strong focus on family law — including divorce, custody and child support, matrimonial property disputes, adoptions, establishment or denial of paternity, surrogacy, and international child abduction under the Hague Convention. He also handles cases of medical malpractice, tort liability, unjust enrichment, debt collection, and restructuring of liabilities toward financial institutions.

In parallel, he provides ongoing legal support to businesses at all stages of their operation. He has successfully handled numerous cases before all levels of the Greek judiciary, with a results-driven approach and unwavering focus on the substance of each matter.

Marios is fluent in English and Italian.
